D-Fly, known for their innovative four-wheeled electric hyperscooter, partnered with Surfr Media to develop a full suite of creative content spanning video production, product photography and graphic design. The collaboration focused on building a bold and distinctive visual identity across both marketing campaigns and product support materials, including user manuals, accessory guides and app interface design.
The project began with the brand’s first major seasonal campaign – a Christmas launch designed to introduce D-Fly to wider audiences across digital and social platforms. Rather than following traditional festive advertising tropes, the creative direction was intentionally developed to feel modern, disruptive and highly recognisable within a crowded seasonal marketplace.
A key part of the campaign was a bespoke product photography series designed to showcase the hyperscooter in a dynamic, visually engaging way. Instead of conventional Christmas styling, we created a unified set of bold visual compositions using carefully selected typography inspired by iconic Christmas song lyrics. Phrases such as “Oh What Fun It Is To Ride”, “Rockin’ Around” and “So Here It Is” were integrated directly into the imagery using strong, contemporary typographic layouts that interacted with the product itself.
This approach allowed the campaign to merge product photography with graphic design and advertising creative, producing a cohesive visual system that stood out across social media, digital advertising and brand communications. The result was a distinctive and highly memorable campaign that elevated the D-Fly brand above traditional seasonal marketing content.
Alongside the campaign creative, Surfr Media also supported D-Fly with broader design work including user manuals, accessory documentation and app interface design. This ensured consistency across both customer-facing marketing and functional product materials, reinforcing clarity, usability and brand identity at every touchpoint.
The final outcome demonstrates how integrated creative production – combining photography, graphic design and digital product communication – can be used to build a strong, recognisable brand presence within the fast-growing electric mobility sector.
