Medicash

Medicash partnered with Surfr Media to produce a collection of wellbeing, mindfulness and fitness-focused video content for use within the Medicash app used by policy holders across the UK.

As digital wellbeing platforms continue to evolve, professionally produced content has become increasingly important in helping organisations create engaging user experiences that audiences genuinely connect with. High-quality video content not only improves engagement and retention within apps and subscription platforms, but also strengthens trust, accessibility and overall brand perception.

Working closely with the Medicash team, we produced a series of wellbeing and lifestyle videos designed to support users with mindfulness, movement and positive daily habits. The project combined cinematic videography with animation and graphic design to create content that felt approachable, modern and visually engaging across mobile devices and digital platforms.

A key part of the creative brief involved introducing animated elements throughout the productions to help visualise the narration and make the content feel more interactive and accessible. To achieve this, we designed a bespoke collection of 2D illustrated characters and motion graphics that were integrated throughout the videos, helping bring key messages and wellbeing concepts to life in a clear and engaging way.

Filming took place at the Medicash offices in Liverpool city centre. By combining structured editing with animated overlays and character design, the final productions delivered a polished and cohesive visual experience across the entire wellbeing collection.

In addition to supporting the user experience within the Medicash app itself, the content also provided the organisation with a valuable library of professional digital assets that could be repurposed across wider marketing, internal communications and future wellbeing campaigns.
